$35 : I have 4 small red spots on the arch of my right foot. I noticed
Jun29Question : I have 4 small red spots on the arch of my right foot. I noticed some spots maybe a month ago. They seem to be moving around, or at least healing past the surface of the skin and then at some point a group of new spots will form. I had not been too concerned with it, nor monitoring it too closely, but know one of the spots is larger than the others have been. They do not seem to replicate the photos that I have been able to find of planters warts.
Answer : hello,
thanks XXX XXXXXXX in the photos. they were helpful.
it seems that you have palpable purpura.
it is seen in vasculitis.
vasculitis is a condition where there is inflammation of blood vessels.
as a result it is manifested by purpura.
the first step is to get the diagnosis confirmed.
that will have to be done by a biopsy from the lesion and then only can the treatment be started.
it is mainly oral steroids or other immunosuppressive drugs.
please visit your doctor for this.
regards.
