I’ve heard that Oticon hearing aids are good. I’m 59 years old and my hearing if pretty bad. I had a hearing test and was told that one of my ears in particular has damage resembling issues with the nerves.

1) Have you ever heard of oticon ?
2) How does it compare to a device like the neutronicear?

Yes, I have heard of the Oticon and know several people who have used the device. It’s actually one of the more popular models. You mention the neutronicear, but typically I find that the closest device to those offered by Oticon are the Acoustitone by MDHearingAid.

Both of the devices are good and both are typically more powerful than the neutronicear.

Manufacturers typically offer a trial period of 15-30 days for people to test the product. You have to also keep in mind that Oticon is a brand and there are a number of models with different shapes, features, and prices (i.e. Oticon Sumo, Oticon Vigo, Oticon Safran, Oticon Epoq , Opticon Agil , etc). Make sure to look around and compare.
